Carrousels is the fourth painting in the Constructed Romance series and is inspired by the historic carousel at the foot of Montmartre, a familiar and nostalgic place in Paris. The painting offers space to pause and reflect on the feeling of wanting to hold on to something almost wondrous, while knowing that the moment will pass.
